Eurobrake 2026: concrete results for cleaner mobility

From 1 to 3 June 2026, Tallano Technologies participated in Eurobrake, the leading international congress dedicated to braking technologies, which brings together manufacturers, equipment suppliers, research laboratories and mobility experts from around the world.

On this occasion, our CTO, Loïc Adamczak, presented Tallano’s latest advances in reducing fine particles from braking at source.

On the road, the results of trials carried out on buses in commercial service on the Soléa network in Mulhouse confirmed the effectiveness of our TAMIC® technology under real operating conditions. These demonstrations mark a key step towards the large-scale deployment of solutions that address urban air quality challenges.

We also shared the first results of tests conducted under the WHBC HD1 protocol in collaboration with ZF Group. These bench tests represent a significant advance in validating our system’s performance for heavy-duty applications.

The show was also an opportunity to highlight the European VERA project, which aims to accelerate the transition to cleaner rail mobility through innovation and the reduction of non-exhaust emissions.

In the rail sector, several notable results were presented. Among them were the tests on DBU and TBU systems, presented by Graz University of Technology, a long-standing partner of Tallano. A first-of-its-kind study conducted on the Madrid Metro also demonstrated the positive impact of our technology on air quality in underground rail networks.

These results reflect the momentum built by Tallano Technologies and its partners to tackle what has become a major environmental challenge: reducing brake particle emissions on both road and rail.
