Deployment of TAMIC® on an RER C railcar from 2020 to 2023 in partnership with SNCF
Following the selection of Tallano Technologies’ solution as part of the « Innovons pour l’air de nos stations » call for projects launched by the Île-de-France Region, TAMIC® was deployed on an RER C car from 2020 to 2023.
The TAMIC® system was deployed from December 2020 to January 2023 on an RER C car, under commercial operating conditions.
More than 70% of the fine particles generated by the braking system (pads and discs) were captured by the TAMIC® system. The results were validated by the Centre d’Ingénierie du Matériel de la SNCF (SNCF’s Rolling Stock Engineering Center).
The train equipped with TAMIC® covered 80,000 km per year. Up to 1.8 kg of dust was collected per filter during this period.
